CHRIS Baird makes his Burnley debut in this afternoon's game at Charlton Athletic.
The versatile former Fulham defender signed a short-term deal until the end of the season on Thursday and goes straight into the side for the injured Kieran Trippier, who misses his first game this term.
Junior Stanislas' inclusion in the side is the only other change for the Clarets.
The winger has made a positive impact from the bench in the last two games, setting up important goals, and has been rewarded with his first start since early December, and only his fifth Championship start this season.
Derby's 5-0 lunchtime win over Nottingham Forest has reduced the gap to second place Burnley to seven points.
