BLACKBURN Rovers reporter Paul Wheelock gives his player ratings for the 4-2 triumph at Huddersfield Town.
Who was your man of the match? Have your say using the comment facility below.
Paul Robinson 7: Made a crucial save from Nakhi Wells when Rovers led 2-1 and could do little about the two goals he conceded.
Jason Lowe 7: Playing out of position at right-back, his afternoon ended early after he became the latest Rovers player to injure an ankle.
Michael Keane 8: Played his part in Rovers’ opener and set up Craig Conway to score the third. He also made vital clearances and blocks.
Matt Kilgallon 8: Beaten by Wells for the goal which gave Huddersfield hope, the fit-again centre-back was otherwise a defensive rock.
Tommy Spurr 7: Solid at the back and a threat from set-pieces, the left-back twice went close with headers in the first half.
Corry Evans 7: Got better and better as the game wore on, it is clear the key midfielder is getting closer to full match sharpness.
Lee Williamson 7: Summed up Rovers’ desire when his superb pressing led to Jordan Rhodes completing his hat-trick and killing the contest.
Craig Conway 9: The winger continued his impressive form one by creating Rhodes’ crucial second goal before getting on the scoresheet himself.
David Dunn 7: Kept the ball well. Rovers have won 10 and lost just four of the last 20 league Championship games he has started.
Rudy Gestede 7: Given the all clear after being knocked unconscious, the big striker made Rovers’ opener before his injury scare.
Jordan Rhodes 9: The stand-in skipper showed his former club no mercy as he scored the second hat-trick of his Rovers career.
Man of the match: Jordan Rhodes - How can you not give it to the hat-trick hero? But Rovers’ 20-goal top scorer was pushed all the way by Craig Conway.
