BLACKBURN Rovers have made three changes to their team for today’s Championship clash at Huddersfield Town.

Captain Grant Hanley is not risked after coming off with a tight hamstring in Wednesday’s desperately disappointing 1-0 home loss to Bournemouth and is replaced by the fit-again Matt Kilgallon.

Kilgallon will partner Michael Keane in the heart of a Rovers defence which seems set to feature Jason Lowe at right-back after Todd Kane was dropped to the bench and replaced by midfielder Lee Williamson.

David Dunn is also recalled in place of Luke Varney.

In the absence of Hanley Rovers will be captained by Jordan Rhodes, who scored 87 goals in 148 appearances for the Terriers before his club record £8m move to Ewood Park in August 2012.

Huddersfield, who would move above out-of-form Rovers with victory, also make three changes as Adam Hammill, Tommy Smith and Oliver Norwood replace Calum Woods, Sean Scannell and Keith Southern.

Terriers’ top scorer James Vaughan, after missing the last five matches with a calf injury, is fit enough to take his place on the bench.

Huddersfield: Smithies, Wallace, Clarke, Smith, Dixon, Norwood, Clayton, Hogg, Hammill, Ward, Wells. Subs: Bennett, Woods, Scannell, Vaughan, Gobern, Southern, Bunn.

Rovers: Robinson, Lowe, Keane, Kilgallon, Spurr, Dunn, Evans, Williamson, Conway, Gestede, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Kane, Olsson, Varney, Taylor, Feeney, Dabo.
