Battle of the boroughs
THE top teams in Burnley and Pendle will represent their respective boroughs in the Lancashire School Games – but first of all their is the matter of local pride!.
For four teams from each borough will take part in a challenge competition to be held at the end of the month.
And Blacko appear to be the team to beat.
The Pendle champions will be joined by Laneshawbridge Walverden and St Josephs.
The Burnley quartet will be winners St John’s CofE Cliviger, St Leonards, Padiham Primary School and Wellfield. The event takes place on March 27.
