THE Great Harwood native returned to Rovers from Birmingham in 2007 and has tormented Burnley whenever he played against them.
The events of Sunday, March, 28 2010 firmly immortalised him in the hearts of Rovers fans.
The East Lancashire derby at Turf Moor was seen as vital to Burnley’s chances of Premier League survival, but their chances took a blow when Martin Olsson charged into the box and fell under the challenge of Brian Jensen.
Despite furious Burnley protests, referee Mike Dean awarded the penalty and Dunn sent Jensen the wrong way to secure a 1-0 victory.
He had also scored in the reverse fixture earlier in the season as Rovers won 3-2.
As if that wasn’t enough he hit a last minute equaliser for Rovers at Ewood in last season’s derby despite Burnley claiming he was offside.
