A STAR-STUDDED line up will be in Manchester for the Bike & Triathlon show this weekend.

Tour de France yellow jersey wearer Chris Boardman and multi-Olympic gold medalist Chris Hoy will be among the special guests at the event which runs on Saturday and Sunday at Manchester Central.

Joanna Rowsell, fresh from winning two gold medals at the Track Cycling World Championships in Colombia earlier this month, will also be in attendance.

Boardman will be showing his latest range of bikes at the event as well as taking part in a signing session.

Of his new range, Boardman said: “There is certainly something of interest for everyone.

“Most exciting, for me, will be showing off our new flagship bike the recently launched Boardman Elite Series AiR/TTE – an aerodynamic triathlon and time trial bike – that is one of the fastest bikes in the world.”

Hoy will be showcasing his range of HOY Bikes which were released last year, while Rowsell will be at the Wattbike stand. She will be a guest speaker as well as taking questions from visitors.

The show is open for everyone, from beginners to serious participants.

Paralympic legend Dame Sarah Storey will also be at the event which features a host of activities and stands to keep visitors entertained.

Sponsors to the show include Bike Biz, British Cycling, British Triathlon, National Open Water Coaching Association, Royles, Sports Tours International, Thistle Insurance Service Ltd, USN and Zoggs.
