Derbyshire’s former Burnley star Jon Clare has registered for the Turf Moor outfit ahead of the new Foster’s Lancashire League season.
The 27-year-old all-rounder broke a host of records while coming through the ranks at Burnley and intends to play for Bharat Tripathi’s men when his commitments with Derbyshire allow.
Also registered for Burnley is Tripathi’s brother Vishal, while Jhangir Liaqat has made the short trip from Nelson.
Worsley Cup winners Burnley have also signed Brad Ramshead from Colne.
