FULL-TIME: Bournemouth 1, Burnley 1
Updated 5:21pm Saturday 15th February 2014 in Sport
BURNLEY'S reunion with former boss Eddie Howe again ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Clarets had to come back from behind to earn a point, which keeps their unbeaten league run going - stretching it to nine games - after substitutes Ross Wallace and Keith Treacy combined to equalise.
There were few chances of note in a goalless first half.
While both sides broke out from the back with promise there was a lack of quality in the final third, and no real clear cut chances before the break.
Simon Francis went the closest to breaking the deadlock with a low drive that Tom Heaton got his body behind to smother.
But Burnley were again undone at a corner when Ian Harte's inswinging delivery was headed in by Tokelo Rantie in the 51st minute.
But the Clarets equalised soon after manager Sean Dyche brought on Wallace and Treacy in a double substitution.
A clever set piece manoeuvre resulted in Wallace sending a cross to the far left post, where Treacy stabbed into the roof of the net from close range.
Lewis Grabban and substitute Yann Kermorgant went close to restoring Bournemouth's lead, while Francis clipped the top of the crossbar.
But a point overall was probably a fair result.
