BLACKBURN Rovers have named an unchanged side for today’s match at fellow play-off hopefuls Middlesbrough – but there are places on the bench for new signing Luke Varney and the fit-again Corry Evans.

Striker Varney goes straight into the matchday squad after this morning completing his loan move from Leeds United until the end of the season.

Midfielder Evans, meanwhile, features for the first time since he sustained ankle-ligament damage while on international duty for Northern Ireland on October 15.

Middlesbrough – who are four points and three places below Rovers in 12th – have made four changes to the side which started their 0-0 draw at Doncaster last Saturday.

Club captain Jonathan Woodgate returns to the team after overcoming a thigh injury while there is a full debut for Danny Graham following his loan switch from Sunderland.

Jozsef Varga and Dean Whitehead earn recalls.
