THE weather has been kind on the East Lancs Club Winter Bowling League with all games so far having been completed on schedule.
Once again, the league has proved to be extremely popular – not just with the bowlers but with friends who go along some refreshments while watching.
With only three or four weeks of the league programme remaining, thoughts are now already turning to the summer season and East Lancs Club has exciting news for bowlers of all ages and ability.
The club is pleased to announce a flat rate annual bowling membership fee of just £20.
For this fee, members can play in the Blackburn, Darwen and Great Harwood Leagues as well as the afternoon veterans leagues – or just enjoy a social bowl in a friendly surrounding.
