BLACKBURN Rovers top scorer Jordan Rhodes has reiterated he is happy to stay at Ewood Park.

Speculation has linked Rhodes with moves to clubs in the Premier League and in the Championship during this month’s transfer window – with QPR manager Harry Redknapp going on record to state his admiration for the ‘amazing’ striker.

But Rhodes insists he does not want to leave Rovers.

The 16-goal striker said: “The speculation is not something I can influence or determine.

“I love being at Blackburn Rovers and being a Blackburn Rovers player.

“It’s a club full of good people, with good players and a good team spirit and tremendous facilities.

“I like going in every day and until told otherwise I’m a Blackburn Rovers player.”

And Rhodes is determined to help the club back into the Premier League.

He added: “We’re not too far off, we’ve just been lacking that last win to put us on a three or four-match winning streak that would put us into the play-offs.”

Redknapp has admitted his interest in the Scotland striker but claimed that Rovers would not budge on price.

The QPR boss said: “He’s a good player but I don’t think they (Rovers) will lower the price.

“They want their money back – they want their £8m or £9m for him.

“He’s too expensive.

“Every week he scores.

“He’s amazing.”
