BURNLEY boss Sean Dyche said his side could not have done much more to get the win over Sheffield Wednesday.
The Clarets were ultimately held to a 1-1 draw in today's Championship clash.
But it was not for the want of trying, after creating a host of chances in either half.
Sam Vokes gave Burnley a deserved lead in the 43rd minute, with his 13th goal of the season. But it was cancelled out almost immediately, with Chris Maguire equalising from close range after a free kick into the box was poorly defended.
"It was one of those strange ones where we've been totally dominant from start to finish on virtually every level of the game," said Dyche.
"Somehow you don't win it and sometimes that happens.
"We had a plethora of chances and how you don't put them in is ones of those things."
Dyche, who was disappointed with the goal they conceded, added: "Other than the physical scoreline I'm delighted with the performance."
