BURNLEY Athletic moved half a dozen points clear at the summit of the East Lancashire Football League with a 3-0 win over bottom club Colne United.
Only a couple of games survived the weather in the top flight, and in the other fixture to get the go ahead, Oswaldtwistle St Mary's edged past Feniscowles and Pleasington 1-0.
Weather wiped out all the games in Division Two, however Feniscowles and Pleasington's second string enjoyed a much better day than their first team, crushing Rock Rovers 6-4 at home. Also in the reserve division, Barrowford Celtic won 8-2 at Peel Park
