Staying will be the name of the game at Warwick on Saturday and Boyfromnowhere should certainly see out every yard of the Grade Three Betfred Classic Chase.

The seven-year-old will be having just his fourth start over fences but he has come on in leaps and bounds on each of his runs this season and is on an excellent weight of just 10st, taking into account the 5lb claim of the more-than-capable Patrick Corbett.

While he was decent over hurdles, Boyfromnowhere fell short of Graded class but he has shaped with some promise over the bigger obstacles, placing twice before getting his head in front at Fontwell in November.

Boyfromnowhere was stepping up half a mile in trip that day and even on heavy ground, he still looked to have plenty in the tank as he was spring-heeled at the last.

He clashes again with Shotgun Paddy, who had him back in third at Chepstow in October, but they raced off level weights that day and Boyfromnowhere will be in receipt of more than a stone this time.

Obviously Rebecca Curtis’ runner has a fair bit to find with the more established performers but from his position at the bottom of the weights and his progressive profile, he rates an excellent proposition.

Should you fancy an each-way saver, Major Malarkey stands out as a solid stayer who recently returned to winning form.

Willie Mullins sends over Rathvinden for the Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle and the hint should be taken.

An easy winner of two bumpers, he made a similarly comfortable winning debut over obstacles when an 11-length victor at Cork last month.

Rathvinden might turn out to be a chaser in the fullness of time, but Mullins’ challenger should not be underestimated as he takes a jump up the ladder in this Grade Two event.

The Liquidator impressed with an all-the-way victory on his reappearance at Cheltenham and despite trainer David Pipe’s reservations about the Kempton track, he is the choice in the williamhill.com Levy Board Tolworth Hurdle Novices’ Hurdle.

Pipe felt the original venue of Sandown would have been a better track for his charge but The Liquidator showed he is a class act when winning by 15 lengths in Grade Two company on his second attempt over hurdles.

This Grade One represents another step up but he has proved his mettle at this level in bumper company and The Liquidator remains a potential star for Pipe.

Saphir Du Rheu laughed at his rivals when winning by eight lengths at Sandown last time and can follow up in the ultra-competitive William Hill Lanzarote Hurdle.

The four-year-old easily accounted for Home Run in a competitive heat and while the handicapper has whacked him up 15lb for that victory, Saphir Du Rheu can handle the rise.

Champion Court unshipped his rider in the King George on Boxing Day but can get back on the winning track in the Listed williamhill.com Chase.

Red Sherlock can maintain his unbeaten record as he gets in a bit more match practice ahead of some better engagements in Wetherby’s EBF Stallions “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle Qualifier.

Galician is sure to be a popular choice for the Ladbrokes Conditions Stakes at Lingfield.

Mark Johnston’s charge has upwards of 2lb in hand of all her rivals here but the conditions of the race mean she will be getting 5lb from the rest of the field.

The five-year-old has been holding her own at Listed level as well as class two handicaps in recent months, most recently winning a decent event over this course and distance just before the turn of the year.

Despite having raced 26 times through 2013, Galician still kept finding and she would be a worthy winner of this event.

Crius finished just out of the frame at this track before Christmas and looks a likely type in the coral.co.uk Handicap.

Formerly trained by Richard Hannon snr, Crius was a Group Three winner as a juvenile but did not develop into that kind of three-year-old performer and appeared to thoroughly lose his way last term.

Subsequently snapped up by trainer Daniel Kubler, he made a decent start when fifth on his debut for the yard, meeting trouble in running before eventually being beaten just under four lengths.

Racing off his lowest mark for quite some time, Crius can start to shine again.
