NELSON have confirmed that striker Ritchie Allen has agreed a move back to former club AFC Fylde.
The talisman forward netted 20 goals in 20 appearances for the Admirals and played his last game on Boxing Day.
His performances caught the eye of AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor, who spoke to Nelson manager Mark Fell about the players availability over the Christmas Period.
“I got a call from Dave about Ritchie’s availability,” said the Blues boss.
“We are not going to stand in the player’s way of a move three steps higher up the pyramid.
“Dave and AFC Fylde have conducted themselves very professionally and Ritchie’s move ensures a strong relationship and potential further work between the two clubs.”
Allen will remain dual registered with both clubs should the opportunity arise for a return to Victoria Park.
