THE DAILY SPORTS DEBATE

Lancashire Telegraph: Gary Bowyer Gary Bowyer

BURNLEY and Blackburn Rovers both started 2014 with impressive wins leaving East Lancashire’s two Championship clubs well placed in the table.

The Clarets are back in the automatic promotion places thanks to a 3-2 home victory over Huddersfield while Rovers are 10th – just two points off the top six following a fine 2-1 win at Leeds United.

Can both sides end the season in the Premier League?

Why a picture of Bower alone when its meant to be a debate fostering article covering both Rovers and Clarets? A Blackburn orientated Rag run by Blackburn for Blackburn for Blackburn, as always. It comes out in all the reflex editorial moments.

Burnley DO get poor coverage from a Blackburn paper. It's clearly Blackburn based and Blackburn biased. It doesn't take an Einstein to see that.

Leicester & Derby will go up automatically setting up nicely for us to play Burnley in the play off final and continue on our 35 year record against the dingles

You might be right about the pay-offs but you will have lost your 35 years thing (the only thing you have left to talk about these days) by then. Of course much depends on whether you can keep J. Rhodes FC on board
