BLACKBURN Rovers striker DJ Campbell is available for selection for tomorrow’s trip to Yeovil after returning to training.

Rovers announced last Thursday that Campbell had ‘been given time off to spend with his family’ after his arrest and subsequent bail by police probing spot-fixing allegations in football matches.

That meant the striker missed Saturday’s 3-2 home win over Millwall.

But Gary Bowyer yesterday confirmed that Campbell was back at Brockhall and preparing for the Yeovil clash.

Rovers boss Bowyer said: “He’s trained with us Tuesday and today and he’s a normal squad player now so he’s available for selection.

“We just have to keep monitoring how he is.”

Asked if he would have any problems selecting Campbell, Bowyer said: “No. We’ll just judge him as every other player.”

Lee Williamson will return to the Rovers squad tomorrow after recovering from the foot injury that ruled him out against Millwall.

The match will come too soon for fellow midfielder Corry Evans, who this week started running again after two months on the sidelines with ankle-ligament damage.

But Bowyer said: “We hope to get him back and reintroduce him soon.”
