MILLWALL boss Steve Lomas has challenged his side to reproduce their superb form at the Den on their travels – starting at Blackburn Rovers tomorrow.

The Lions are unbeaten in seven matches at home after bouncing back from a 5-1 loss to Derby County to beat Blackpool, Leeds United, Barnsley and Wigan Athletic and draw with QPR, Burnley and Nottingham Forest.

Their results on the road, however, have been awful.

Millwall have taken just one point from a possible 15 in their last five away games, in which time they have shipped in 16 goals.

Lomas said: “It’s now seven unbeaten at home and the challenge now for the lads is to reproduce that away from home.

“We looked at the stats last year and our away form was a lot better than the home form.

“It’s a bit like role reversal this year so we have got to address it and accept that it is a challenge. It’s a tough, tough league and you only have to look at some of the results through the week and on Saturday.

“It is so unpredictable but I have always said to the lads that if they put in the performance it normally looks after the result.”
