GLOBE Bullough are up and running after winning their first match of the season in the Harry Dewhurst Memorial League.

Globe went in to their bottom-of-the-table clash with Dog Inn having lost nine of their previous 10 fixtures.

But a 3-1 win at Wilson’s Playing Fields saw them move to four points – two points behind Dog Inn.

The top of the table clash between leaders Church Town and second-placed Bay Horse at the same venue was called off just before kick off.

In the league’s other match, Stanley Ultras beat Baggy’s Wine Bar 5-2.
