The summer and January shopping spree leads to inflated prices for players who would normally go for a fraction of their cost and many clubs in the past have ended up with the football equivalent of a white elephant.
In the spirit of a free market, do you think clubs should be able to buy and sell players when they choose, rather than just in a spell contrived by the people running the game?
