MANAGER Sean Dyche says it will be a big effort to get the better of Burnley.

The Clarets dropped points for the first time since the derby draw with Blackburn Rovers on September 14 at Millwall on Saturday.

But Dyche believes their fightback proves they are not prepared to roll over and surrender top spot.

“You just get that feeling at the moment if someone’s going to turn us over they’re going to have to work really hard and play really well in order to do so,” said the Burnley boss, who stretched his personal record against old club Millwall to 13 games unbeaten, while the Clarets extended their unbeaten Championship run to 10 games.

“It’s an amazing run for me personally here.

“The team’s important, the mentality again goes into that – the mentality in order to not be beat.”

Burnley have lost only once in their 14 league games this season – at Brighton in August in only their second away game.

“We are building a really strong mentality here and it showed again.

“We were 2-0 down and there was no disappointment from the players, the way they responded immediately shows that.

“We believe in attacking teams constantly and that’s what we did overall.”
