MORGAN Jackson has his eye on the prize after winning his first boxing title.
The 17-year-old won the mini prize fighter belt with an impressive display of punching power while also showing off his ring craft.
The Blackburn College student won the title after winning two fights at the competition held in the Midlands.
Jackson, who fights out of the Kokoro Gym in Accrington, showed his devastating power in the first round against the experienced John Doody, 27, from Tipton flooring him five times in the contest before delivering a knockout blow in the third round.
He had to show off a more disciplined side in the final against Connor Bronzon, 25, from Nuneaton.
In a cagey contest, Jackson, kept his cool when put under pressure and picked his moments to pick off his opponent to get the judges decision in the end.
