Eating like a bird

It has been my happy luxury to cut up two slices of wholemeal bread, morning and afternoon, for the birds in my garden.

Thanks to David Cameron’s £2.70 increase in the old-age pension, I can now only afford one slice in the morning and another in the afternoon – sorry birdies.

For myself, I can now only afford wheat biscuits to eat.

I hope Mr Cameron thinks of his imposed poverty on old age pensioners as he eats the feasts prepared for him by worldwide dignitaries.

I think Mr Cameron has lacked foresight here. Angry old age pensioners could topple him from his high perch.
