FULL TIME: Accrington Stanley 0 Fleetwood Town 3

ACCRINGTON Stanley crashed to the bottom of League Two after a hat-trick from Jon Parkin gave Graham Alexander’s Fleetwood a convincing win at the Store First Stadium tonight.

Stanley paired former England internationals Francis Jeffers and James Beattie up front for the first time but it was Parkin who stole the show, netting in the 25th, 62nd and 70th minutes.

Defeat meant the Reds slipped below Plymouth to bottom spot, two points from safety.

Stanley: Paul Rachubka, Nicky Hunt, Dean Winnard, Tom Aldred, Michael Liddle (Lee Molyneux 64), Rommy Boco, Peter Murphy, Amine Linganzi, Laurence Wilson, Francis Jeffers (Will Hatfield 80), James Beattie (James Gray 63). Subs not used: Ian Dunbavin, Luke Joyce, Craig Lindfield, Marcus Carver.

Attendance: 1,388.
