Winners are off to Blackpool

SCHOOLS from across Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley battled it out for the right to play at the top table.
St Augustine’s , with two teams, Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, Bowland and Ribblesdale battled it out to represent the Valley while Norden, Accrington Academy and St Christopher’s made up the Hydnburn contingent.
St Augustine’s won the girls with Accrington Academy 2nd.
After an extremely close final Ribblesdale High School won the boys with St Augustine’s A in second place – teams were only devided by the results of one game.
It was decided that both Ribble Valley schools would represent the boroughs in next week’s county finals.
