The only ones who are missed are Best & Ollson. The rest arnt good enough for the squad anyway, just another excuse for Appleton to loose games and play negative football.

If we can't beat Peterborough convincingly at home then we can kiss any hopes of making the play-offs good-bye. Not being negative but there comes a point in the season where the players need to stand up and be counted. If they can't then MA needs to start thinking about rebuilding for next season's assault.

rovers made the mistake of letting players go out first without getting in adequate replacements, should have tied down new recruits first before reducing the size of the squad, now i think there are only 18 fit first teamers available going into an hectic schedule, hardly ideal.

Blackburn defender Gael Givet has cuttingly claimed life in the Lancashire town is so miserable he would have hung himself were it not for the support of his family.

The Frenchman has been warming the bench since manager Michael Appleton became Rovers’ third permanent boss this season in January.

And he admitted life in Blackburn had already begun to get him down when Rovers were relegated from the Premier League last season.

I've kept quiet for a couple of weeks, but enough is enough. Club still shambolic, never- were and never- would- be signings, players with more than one eye on Wembley (sod the league, let's get a game at Wembley!). What happened to the ' premier league is our priority'? Went the same way as 'we want Champions League next season', I suppose. Still, roll up and pay your money. Bear in mind, if (when) we lose at Millwall it will be a very deflated end to the season, and a further exodus of players will be on the cards. Not that any of them, apart from Rhodes will be missed. Then we can look forward to another pile of never- were and never-would be's. What a pile of nonsense our club as become. Back to my shell now, folks, but do carry on supporting the Venkys.........

Hopes for the play-offs went during Berg's tenure IMO. Plan for next season and possibly a visit to Wembley in April!!!

Appleton stated he believes in a SMALLl squad. There are too many games in Championship to have a small squad. Players get injured. He needs to learn fast and stop going on about injuries. This is what happens when you let players go without adequate replacement. Also he must be disappointed with Campbell and Rekik as they have not delivered so far. At least the next few games are relatively easier than top teams away so rovers should win them.

ferfuksake MA give Goodwillie a game, he can't do any worse than the other craaaap ya been playing lately!!!

Yes and the Venkys if still there for next season need to invest 'REAL' money in quality players and a quality Manager.

As I said earlier MOH. It all comes down to Appletons inexperience. It doesn't make him a bad manager, but as yet he is inexperienced.

If appletons not going to start nuno gomes, fabio nunes and josh morris than they there are only a pool of 15 players hes going to choose from for the starting line-up, that includes 3 loans players who are so off the pace and lacking game time, when theres no competition for places where is the incentive for the players to keep them honest and show the manager that they are deserving their place in the team,

we really need players that can run at defences and make them panic and force them to double up, freeing up space and bring other rovers players into play, making their jobs alot easier..besides dunn and rochina i cant think of any rovers player whose trying to do that, no wonder we are so easy to stop now

Givet is just miffed because he can't get a game and then MA brings in an inexperienced kid in from City and plays him instead and on top of that the kid is poor. But he shouldn't go to the press. Goodwillie has never been given a chance even though he usually scores when he has had the odd game. Gomez was scoring for fun until he was dropped Nunes hardly gets a sniff and we are looking for another left winger. This is football I am afraid and the Manager calls the shots and we have to go along with it. Same at most Clubs therefore MA has to be given a fair crack of the whip and we need to back him as most people have done up to now.

5 clean sheets (in 10 games) and the moaners are out....didnt we wait 30 odd games for a clean sheet under Kean we needed to get back to basics if it goes tits up it will, just get behind (Appleton 40% win rate) and the team otherwise whats the point!!!!!

Givet should of been potted the day he removed his top and refused to play the second half, totally unacceptable to his team mates, Eric Black and the fans.

There is a plan; Apple has replaced expensive under-achievers with cheaper never-will-achievers

Presumably, Givet is on an appearance bonus so it's cheaper to keep him out.
As I say occasionally on here, if you measure Rovers by football it makes no sense. If you measure it by finance, a cheapskate Indian outfit that has realised the game is up, then it makes a lot of sense.

With the squad down to the bare bones, surely now's the time to give Fabio Nunes a run on the left and Nuno Gomes a chance up top, as both seem perfectly capable of performing at this level, not too sure I'd go as far as giving Goodwillie a run out though

he has no prior skills, qualities that will cut him in management.

However, MA is experienced at one thing, and thats the reason hes here.

hence hes left to bring in below average 2nd rate team players

Play offs is going to be extremely difficult

Best will play very little all season if at all as its likely his injury will prevent him.
