Really disagree with ''Angry Fan from Accrington'' in his comments regarding Appleton he has come in and made us hard to beat and the signs are looking good. He has sorted out Hanley and Dann and John Keeley has really brought out the best in Kean. I agree we need to do more going forward but that will come in time when we get the pace of King and the quality of Best who is just as much as a presence as Kaz is but is a better finisher. My first Appleton game was Derby in the cup and the atmosphere was amazing the fans were unreal, the first time i have felt that since Hughes, the Hull game was strange but its the first time in over 2 years i didnt panic after a defeat as the club is in more than capable hands under Appleton. He has brought in his own staff and has real authority in the club something Berg never had. Just wanted to add the Burnley scum on here just after 5pm after they had lost, obsessed aint the word.

Excellent performances in cup where it doesnt matter - abysmal performances in Championship where it does!!!
A very long way off being a good championship side and as for those who said there would be soon 20k back at Ewood - dream on!!!
Murphy absolutely awful today = no midfield what so ever, no creative play infact today was a disaster.

Rovers are 2nd worst at scoring at home, there are 22 teams in the championship who have scored more at their own ground than rovers, herein lies the problem,

being more physical than the other team is not standard, but quality and end product, small players players like messi and zola excelled despite their size, other teams with less talented players want football to be battle or a wrestling match, were playing it on their terms, we should try to play in on our terms, out do them with movement, play between the lines get in between defenders and find space, out do them with off the ball running and skill, pass and move - not pass and stay still (admiring your pass), put shots at goal before the keeper cam react,

Kean's kicking was poor, Orr wasn't that bad although he isn't a great player, Dann was actually quite good and has been for a few games now, Rekik played well and was only out of position when trying to support the attack. Bentley showed he has ability even if some things didn't come off. Agree with Murphy Kazim and DJ. Lowe also offers very little apart from running around (a very poor imitation of Robbie Savage)
