Totally agree with the above....set for the weekend we should have played them in the league....maybe they could agree to a double whammy to save a return trip for the fans !

Sure does come "thick & fast" over the next month....no wonder Appleton is hoping for more players to replace some of the dead-wood in the squad he inherited....still there is lots of positives happening right now and hope this well bring us the results in the league over the next 3/4 weeks....a BIG ask that needs a BIG response from the supporters....COYB..

The last time i was at the old den was 1987 / 1988 and we had to win the last game of the season to make the playoffs.
Millwall were 2nd Division champions and we beat them 4.1

Going to be a tough one because I'm they know it's winnable for both teams.

Both teams will be thinking they can win this but I think the Rovers will have too much quality for them,

after all the crap we have put up with in the last 2 years we deserve a trip to wembley , we look like a team who has got each others back and are fighting for each other , its refreshing to see. we are looking very solid , apart from a penalty away at brighton we would of had 5 clean sheets in a row ,,,, cmon the blues massive 3 points at hull tue keep the momentum. rovers till i die

Well who could have predicted this, to start the season under that idiot Kean, and five managers later, in the same season, in with a chance of three Wembley appearances, before the season is over. Perhaps there really is a football God.

Fantastic result yesterday at Arsenal. Well done to Michael Appleton and the lads and not forgetting the back room staff. Got to admit I was sh:tutting myself at the draw earlier but pretty pleased we got drawn with milllwall. I will admit to being sceptical when MA was announced as manager not knowing much about him but I am pretty pleased we appointed him as our manager although credit where credit is due, thanks to the upper management team at rovers mainly I think due to Derek shaw who was the mastermind of the plan. Again I thank MA, the team and upper management and long may it continue.

You hardly ever saw an 'idenifiable' Rovers fan everyone adopted a southern 'mockney' accent but Northerners still stood out like a beacon and it wasn't long into the game before the Den Baling-hook crew found you. Tough times. I remember one Rovers fan - Clive Wallwork? - getting his face slashed down there in the eighties also..and its not too much better at the New Den now to be honest. Horrible place to build a new football stadium.

great drinking at market porter (borough market) and the george inn (off borough high st).....marvellous!

first game there for me was that game where we needed to win to get in play-offs - they had just won the league to get promoted as champions to 1st division.....they were still drunk, both fans AND PLAYERS! won 4-1 scorers chris price(?), simon garner x2, simon barker (who then left for qpr) we had around 500-600 there - millwall fans ran on pitch at end and towards us but stopped at edge of pitch.

went to another at old den and a pal of mine took us into the supporters club bar - could not have been more friendly

then there was a cup match in the early 00s at new den - we won 1/0 andy cole(?) - remember walking back to south bermondsey station and the local monkeys were wrecking a traffic warden's van that the bloke had clamped loads of their cars during the game.

Great songs RR and some not so great memories of trips to Millwall. Back in the seventies if we took three car loads then that was considered a good travelling support to Millwall games. You hardly ever saw an 'idenifiable' Rovers fan everyone adopted a southern 'mockney' accent but Northerners still stood out like a beacon and it wasn't long into the game before the Den Baling-hook crew found you. Tough times. I remember one Rovers fan - Clive Wallwork? - getting his face slashed down there in the eighties also..and its not too much better at the New Den now to be honest. Horrible place to build a new football stadium.
I recall the first couple of verses to the song you named Mr W:

The Leeds and the Spurs and Millwall....

No blame india for not being more flexible and open to uk buisness and their corrupt MP'S blocking certain over sea's companies from setting up in india ,that's why cameron is in india to try and get india to be fairer in opening up their own markets to the uk.
