League games on for Rovers v Burnley derby

THE Blackburn Sunday League has announced that no games will be postponed on the weekend of the Blackburn Rovers against Burnley derby clash at Ewood Park on March 17.
The league has had a number of requests to postpone matches but due to a fixture backlog, a full programme is expected to be played.
Fixture secretary Bill Maynard said: “We have had a number of requests, as we did for the Turf Moor match, but due to a backlog of fixtures we have no spare dates to play around with.
“ We are aiming to complete all league games by the April 29 deadline.”
Other leagues are yet to announce their plans.
