SEAN Dyche admitted his disappointment after Burnley let a lead slip to lose 2-1 at Bolton Wanderers today.

David Edgar had headed the Clarets in front 10 minutes after half time but Craig Davies headed in an equaliser unmarked before David Ngog diverted Jay Spearing’s long range shot past Lee Grant for the winner.

Dyche said: “I think the feel of the game was one where we generally had control of it.

“By no means total control, but certainly when we scored.

“We just let it get away from us with small details, but the small details change games.

“The main disappointment was just not dealing with the basics.

“The first goal was just simple basics, nothing special, just dealing with the ball properly, heading the ball and that’s not like us.

“The second one to be fair the shot from outside of the box could have gone anywhere and it lands to him (Ngog), but it was a very good finish.

“It was a close affair I thought generally.”
