Vokes named in Wales squad

BURNLEY striker Sam Vokes has been named in the Wales squad for next week's friendly with Austria.

Vokes, 23, has found himself a regular starter for the Clarets in the last few weeks owing to Charlie Austin's injury and has three goals to his name this season.

Chris Coleman announced his squad this morning and Vokes, who has 24 caps for his country, was among the 22-man party.

Wales face Austria at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night.
