Blackburn’s Paula Walker was left disappointed as she could only take 14th position with Gillian Cooke in the Bobsleigh World Championships.
Walker has been struggling with a knee injury that has hampered her starts and had to battle through the pain in the Swiss resort of St Moritz.
Walker and Cooke were in 11th place after the first two runs on Friday but slipped back to 14th after the final two runs on Saturday.
The duo are now set to return to action next month at the latest World Cup event in the Russian city of Sochi – the host venue for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
