ACCRINGTON Stanley played out a goalless draw at Plymouth in a match that was delayed after a head injury sustained by Reds defender Nicky Hunt.

Hunt was knocked unconscious after a clash of heads in the second half of the League Two clash and was taken to hospital.

The early news on his recovery is encouraging with the former Bolton right back conscious in hospital, although he is thought to have suffered severe concussion.

The match was delayed as Hunt required 10 minutes of treatment on the pitch at Home Park.

James Beattie saw an effort cleared off the line before half time, before Cameron Belford saved from Onismor Bhasera after the interval.

Anthony Charles then had a goal disallowed for Plymouth late on.
