O’Connor will stay at Burton

Blackburn Rovers youngster Anthony O’Connor has extended his loan spell at League Two side Burton Albion until the end of the season. The 20-year-old right back has made 32 appearaces for the Brewers. The young Irishman has yet to make a first team appearance for Rovers.

A Rover 45 years and over says...

It's good we get as many of these youngster out as possible to gain experience, we have shown recently that some of these youngsters can be as good as some of the foreign imports or players that are getting past it etc. as they seem adapt to the English game well. The more that come through the better.
