BURNLEY have produced the most chances against high-flying Crystal Palace, but have nothing to show for their first half efforts.

Indeed, despite plenty of shots from the Clarets, they had goalkeeper Lee Grant to thank for not trailing at the break.

The stopper first saved from Wilfried Zaha, after Palace's wanted man tried to capitalise cut inside and produced a shot at goal following Kieran Trippier's slip.

Grant then reacted well after Jonathan Parr's cutback bounced off Jason Shackell and threatened to go in at the near right post.

But otherwise Burnley have seen enough of the ball not to be troubled by the Eagles.

Sam Vokes should have asked more of goalkeeper Julian Speroni after getting the end of Trippier's deliveries, Danny Ings also went close, while David Edgar had a header well saved just before the break.
