BRAG need to be realistic about what they or any other group can actually achieve. Almost zero.

BRSIT may actually be the way forward - but that could take years and even then it could only happen with the Venky's willing cooperation.

You are right, we couldn't sustain the club, we would have to make massive cuts everywhere and would be relegated even lower. BUT the club would be ours again, the honest family club we've all nearly forgotton about we've been through so much

Get real, the only reason Swansea are where they are is.
1....Their owner bought the club for £1.
2.....The board agreed to give 20 % of shares.
3...All they had to do to get a share, was to buy a season ticket.

where does this figure come from of £10m to buy it, I dont like the venkys but i do begin to suspect that there are people out there destabalising the club at every oppurtunity to push down its value so they can get it for nothing, then the real asset strippers will step in.

Venkys needs to go and this supporter group has try their best but still we having these issues.

If by some miracle the supporters buy the club where are the matches going to be played because they won't be able to use Ewood Park and with due respect to Rovers fans there is not twenty thousand with the availability to donate a thousand pounds each no chance.

Several months ago BRAG presnted a ‘dynamite’ 400-page dossier to the FA and the Football League and they were assured there would be an investigation. From recollection, Glen Mullan warned that if BRAG did not receive a positive response by Christmas, then they would make public its contents.

Whilst a lot of the content in your statement is true there will be no sense in creating protests about the new manager once he is installed that will look rediculous he will have to be given a chance first like we did with Henning. I don't understand this statement at all. There is no magic formula for appointing a manager - calling for 'experience' is all well and good but experience of what? Managers who have taken sides out of the Championship are few and far between. Those that would join this regieme are even fewer I would imagine! Well for starters there is - Holloway, McCarthy, Bruce, Warnock, even Owen Coyle!

And most of these have been available for hire at some stage this season.

Whether any would choose to come to Blackburn Rovers now given the turmoil within the club - is another matter.

With regard to Appleton - I know he was well regarded at West Brom and did a reasonable job under difficult circumstances at Portsmouth - but is he really the experienced manager the fans have been demanding?

I do agree that the owner's main priority must be to ensure that Singh, Shaw & Agnew are all working together and not undermining the club by leaking stories to the press to further their own aims.

Imho he is better than a number of the other potential targets mentioned.

Where were BRAG when Henning Berg was appointed? Sorry, I forgot, Berg was ultimately the choice of Singh whereas Appleton is Shaw's choice. Talk about transparent. While I believe their intentions were initially for the good of the club, I can't help but feel that certain key members of the organisation are far more interested in what they can get out of this set-up than what is best for the club. Threatening protests before we've even spoken to Appleton isn't for the best of the club.

"Bring Hughes Back!" is what they probably wanna say! Living off past glories! Hughes would have just the same risk as Appleton. Personally, i would like to give Bowyer a few more games to see what happens, but if they bring someone else in, i'll get behind him! The club is bigger than any 1 individual! and when u look to the more successful managers (Hughes/Allardyce/So
uness) i dont think they were everyones first choice at the time and they turned out alright!

Let the new guy, whoever it is, come in and give it a shot! Otherwise, we're gonna have this happen over and over again! I dont think 10,000 tickets every home game at 10-15£ a pop even covers 4 of our top players' weekly wages... so Venkys are obviously out of pocket!

I dont even know why im positing on here, because ive got that feeling that too much damage has been done in the eyes of some fans and they wont be happy even if Mourinho came here!

If Ewood stays so volatile, then we can kiss promotion goodbye and most of our players at the end of the year too! Rhodes included! I wouldnt wanna be playing in an empty stadium knowing if i fluff a shot the few thousand there might boo me!

Get rid of Singh and let Derek Shaw run the club, a real football man with experience in the English game.

I am impartial here but I have met many of these types over the years on the sub-continent and you are bang on with your assessment.

BRFCAG is nothing more than a "paper tiger". No one is listening to them or cares what they are saying. Venkys are a law unto themselves and will continue to be so until the club finally disappears into a morass of debt.
The Rovers we all knew and loved has gone and has been replaced with a rotting corpse. I have supported Rovers for 60+ years, but I will not set foot in Ewood again until the Venkys and their clowns/puppets are gone.

Obviously talking to Shebby - has influenced how important BRAG think they are.

On what basis do they think they have the right to decide who is Manager - have they run a football club before?

They need to get real - yes it would be great if Venkys sold up but they are not going to incur a significant loss just because BRAG says so.

Furthermore - most football people wont touch Rovers so why do they expect no doubt an experienced successful Manager to come to Ewood?

On what basis do they criticise Appleton before the guy has had a chance other than experience is limited - but all Managers at some stage of their careers had no experience including Sir Alex & Mark Hughes

BRAG if you have the finance to buy Rovers buy it and then you can make the decisions but if you want to prolong your criticism of the club - is it any wonder Roevrs stock has plummeted - it is bad enough with Venkys without your twopenny worth being banded about in the National Press - Venkys dont listen and the football authorities can only intervene if regulations have been broken.

Remember we are now a middle of the table Championship side whether you like it or not. Leave the Politics and enjoy the football otherwise the club will be killed off - is that what the fans really want?

Did try telling one or two last year that venkys using Singhs schoolboy antics would try and infiltrate,influence and manipulate the supporters associations with his gaff communications to them,i think venkys will now be feeling that they have won, they have certainly gained world fame, not by winning or achieving anything on the football pitch with BRFC but in the tv,press they are almost certainly at the top of the champions L/G when it comes to publicity on tv and in the press over the last few years ,Sky tv alone must have had hrs of coverage of the venky escapades in football, venkys have been named far more than Man utd or chelsea have.Venkys certainly have been successful in the publicity department and i guess that has been there real purpose all along when they bought BRFC and it has cost them Jack Sh*t they will see this and not BRFC in the football L/Gs as a successful venture.They have lost nothing at all but the People ,Fans and town of Blackburn have lost, all the respect and dignity that took so long to gain from the world of football it has been sacrificed for Venkys own stage managed publicty stunts.

Im a member and have NOT been asked by them what opinion i have on the management situation. In fact, i never even hear from them at all. It was just a moment of madness whilst signing up on Blackburn market one day. I only went for a nosey. Whilst signing up there was a cocky little blonde girl there fing & jeffing. After i had signed up, i asked who she was and apperantley she is on the committee. I have also been in the Brown Cow on Livesey Branch Road on a couple of occasions after a Rovers game, and i couldn't believe what i was seeing. Some fella called Mark Fish who is apperantley on the committee as well, was swearing his head off at people and wanting to fight with them, whilst the head of the committee some guy called Glen was standing by letting him carry on and this is whilst his little daughter was there as well.
I have also seen them at Ewood & away games (probably for the first time in there lives), causing trouble with other groups, then running to the police.
Now if these are the sort of people who are a running a group, i really dont want to be involved with them.
They are just trouble makers who think they are bigger than the club.
We have been in worse situations than this, were where they then?

We've sold all our playing assets which are worth anything (we wouldn't get £8mill back for Rhodes) so what would anyone be buying?

An ailing business bordering on bankruptcy. £10mill would seem a more than reasonable price.

I am impartial here but I have met many of these types over the years on the sub-continent and you are bang on with your assessment.

The owner only had to pay £1 because the club was laden with debt which it couldn't repay and was therefore worth nothing as a business.

Swansea City FC is where it is as a football club because it has been responsibly and competently run. They appointed officials and managers who fitted in with their ideas and ideals which has led them to be a PL club which plays a pretty d@mn good style of football.

Lucky maybe and as with most clubs of their size they will be relegated in time, but it shows what can be done.

Points 2 & 3 are irrelevant as regards the sale of theclub. You could say they are part of the reason the club is where it is now as they gave the supporters the feeling they were part of it. We've been bemoaning how Rovers is no longer a family club so why is giving the fans shares such a bad thing?

BRAG if you have the finance to buy Rovers buy it and then you can make the decisions but if you want to prolong your criticism of the club - is it any wonder Roevrs stock has plummeted - it is bad enough with Venkys without your twopenny worth being banded about in the National Press - Venkys dont listen and the football authorities can only intervene if regulations have been broken.

Remember we are now a middle of the table Championship side whether you like it or not. Leave the Politics and enjoy the football otherwise the club will be killed off - is that what the fans really want?

No no we don't want Appleton please Venkys please listen to BRFC action group .As an Indian lived nearly all my life in Blackburn, i am pleading to Venkys we want a proven manager at the top level like Di Matteo or Coleman.Blackburn people are good folks and love their football club.For two years Venkys have made mistakes which the fans were right.Venkys need a ew start with good people in the boardroom to take the club forward into the future.Appointing Appleton will be another disaster like Berg and Kean.We need a proven manager who can win over fans,allow him more transfer funds.A man who can rebuild Rovers again and take BRFC back to the Premier League where we belong.

BRAG look like morons if they protest at this appointment, but did not at Henning Bergs. Michael Appleton is a far better and far more experienced coach than Berg was, and probably the best we can get. Unless of course we want to go for a name, whose best days may be behind them in management, or just complain continuously instead of backing the team on the pitch.

I actually believe Shebby has a point, whether you like the guy or not, why should clubs be held to ransom by mercenary football managers who never appear to display any loyalty to their employers. Why is it so unusual in English football management for someone to have a contractual obligation to succeed. There is no other profession that rewards failure to the same extent, except perhaps politics! I would not profess to understand the complexities of football management, and I suspect Shebby doesn't either, but I completely understand why he would want someone to sign up to reward purely based on performance, it makes sense.
