I think most fans would agree with you on what we need, but surely these last two years or so have taught us all that we haven't a cat in hells chance of any of it happening with the shyster owners and cretinous sidekicks we have at Ewood . Another good win today for Bowyer and ful respect to the man , but the weaknesses that could and should have been rectified in this transfer window to give us a real chance of promotion are still very,very visible to all...... I think davies is a very sensible option but I think Owen Coyle would also be a good option.

One view that I found interesting was the speculation that if Rovers were to get a club with rich owners, like Chelsea or City, down to Ewood the Venkys and all their hangers on would be swarming around the directors box like flies around 5hit looking for a photo opportunity. Probably cost the club another $1m in first class flights and hotels.

Absolutely. I'm a former season-ticket holder, had one from the moment the ground went all-seater. No need for one now as you can turn up for games that are convenient and sit where you want. I've had tickets in every stand this season. Wasn't going to bother yesterday but decided to get out of the house at the prompting of another former season-ticket holder.

Those that didn't go didn't miss much. Can't see many more oppostion teams letting the game be played Danny Murphy walking speed.

The comment was aimed at those who reckon people haven't turned up because they're skint. Go/ don't go, I'm past giving a care, the "club" as qe knew it is dead.

There were only 9000 at Loftus Rd between 2 premier league teams. Most of the grounds yesterday looked poorly attended

Great interview yesterday by CKR on Rovervision where he praised Gary Bowyer and said the players are all enjoying training and football again as GB lets them express themselves and knows his football (clearly a dig at some at the club past and present) CKR has thrown his shirt to the crowd the last two games and is obviously up for it ( park the cynical comments please)
Team GB (aka Rovers) do look far better and with 3 wins confidence is growing visibly. Diogo Rosado started and looked promising , inch or two away from a debut goal so maybe the Portuguese connection might still pay off
Not all rosy in the garden still a lot to do especially re final ball decisions from some (inc CKR) but we are playing with fresh energy and ideas. Not the greatest game. Second clean sheet though yesterday son we are improving. Grant Hanley had a great game yesterday all round and Bristol never looked like scoring. Yes I know but you can only play the team in front of you and all the Nay say posts said we could not beat a schoolby side under Berg!

Always said that their is an hardcore of 6000 down at Ewood who will under any circumstances attend the beloved, and should never be criticized for doing just that.

We have young folk who go on who have nothing to do with the debacle that besieges our club and just wish to witness their club playing and at this time winning.

Good fortune as descended on Rovers at present with the teams we have had the pleasure to play. That said, you have to beat what is in front of you and under the odious one and Berg I can, and will say possibly have not won these games with the goals for and against ? These wins are building confidence to go into the more challenging of games, and under Bowyer and Co I have the confidence that we can compete as we would expect ?

Wolves next week and looking forward to witnessing that. I don't give a good fig that they are in turmoil we can take full advantage of that helping to rebuild the disaster that as befallen our club. Most clubs in the Championship are having a hard time on some level ours must bulldoze through that taking no facking prisoners along the way.

Confidence is everything, ours are regaining that slowly but, surely.

I remember quite vividly the feelings I had when King Kenny went on a win less streak very nearly derailing the plans and dreams of the late J. Walker ! We came through in the end just as I believe we can now.

Now then young feller me lad, don't be encouraging a noisy element into our little old folks home.

They won't let you bring bottles of Cider into the Riverside any more, nice flask of Horlicks thats what you need.

And those aren't scratch cards, there's just a lot of flaky skin on the old ST when you get to our age.

Can't smoke in there either, but we do enjoy the odd coughing fit, we can get a right mexican wave going along the front row on a cold, wet night.

Personally can't play bingo any more, doctors orders, bit too racy for my heart, he's told me to stick to watching Danny Murphy and I'll be fine.

What happened? You were just asking for constructive criticism. I thought you gave a well balanced view and then you post and join with the criticism! The last two years of not only relegated our club and put it in a precarious position, they have deeply divided the fans and I think that's just as big a job to sort out as it is the football side. I am pointing out that it is pathetic, and if giving a view to prevent it lumps me in with it then so be it.

I agree with you that fan against fan is sad, to say the least !

I am crushingly aware of the deep peril that besets our club having endured, along with yourself, for these past two years, but attacking each other serves no purpose at all. I was merely pointing this out seeing as I've sat with folk as yourselves for nigh on 40 years, and never really experienced this type of vitriolic abuse toward each other.

I've met many a supporter on these pages, who have disagreed, and we all get along fine considerate for each others stance. That is all I'm saying - meet up and be dignified in your argument, and maybe these pages will be easier to view.

Some great comments by Phil Brown on 'Goals on Sunday' earlier. Yes, he was stating the obvious but it's nice to hear someone telling it as it is, even after they've submitted their CV. I doubt he'll get the job, and he already seemed resigned to that, but I'd rather have him than a coach working under Shebby Singh, as seems to be the most popular belief on here. There was also an interesting point made by Ben Shephard with regards to fans and owners concentrating more on the bad times in a manager's career as opposed to the good jobs they've done elsewhere.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not wearing a rosette emblazoned with 'Brown for Rovers', I just think some managers get more flak than they deserve. There's no guarantee that, should they come back, Hughes or Souness could emulate their previous success at the club. There's also no guarantee that someone like Brown or Coyle would be a failure just because it didn't work out at some of their previous clubs. Both these men got teams promoted from this division so they can't be that bad.

I don't think we should upset the apple cart, where Bowyer is concerned, as he's got the team playing with belief again. However, I am worried that a loss or two will have us questioning where our new manager is when, it would appear, Venky's have stopped looking while they try to resolve the Shaw/Agnew/Singh situation.

Here's hoping that Wolves don't play as well for their caretaker-manager as our boys are doing for theirs!

I haven't directly experienced the level of abuse on this page at the games but certainly unpleasant disagreement and last season around me there were incidents of shoving during a disagreement and once a fight broke out between rovers fans as they were leaving the terrace. Now people aren't even that passionate. Just sit there like they're watching tv. I dont like arguing on here and skim over a lot of it but there are times when some people take the differing opinion to an insulting level such has been done today. Things can only get better as the song goes.

Respect Brother W....it takes time for some folks to learn that we can all agree to disagree without anyone losing face.

Decent draw in the FA Cup - would have preferred a home tie of course - but I recall going to Derby for a 4th Round replay in 91 and Rovers won 5-2! Bent got a couple I think. Also remember being beat 3-1 at the Baseball ground in a 5th Round tie in the seventies. 30,000 on with a cracking Rovers following. It was so packed that when we were leaving the ground some Rovers fans were trapped/squashed against the tea and pie shack which came off its base and started moving along with crowd.....Derby had the likes of Colin Todd and McFarland, Hector and even Charlie George playing for them - so no disgrace to get beat that day.

What did Phil Brown have to say? I missed it.

He was just saying how Bowyer's not making too many noises with regards to getting the job full time, despite doing brilliantly so far. He also doubts whether Bowyer is a big enough name for Shebby Singh and thinks that Venky's are looking for a coach instead of a manager. He believes that an experienced manager is needed to run the football side of things so they can concentrate on the business side of things. Basically he was saying that it's a fantastic opportunity provided the manager is allowed to manage without interference. Like I said, he was stating the obvious but it was nice to hear it from a non-Rovers fan.

I don't think we should upset the apple cart, where Bowyer is concerned, as he's got the team playing with belief again. However, I am worried that a loss or two will have us questioning where our new manager is when, it would appear, Venky's have stopped looking while they try to resolve the Shaw/Agnew/Singh situation.

Here's hoping that Wolves don't play as well for their caretaker-manager as our boys are doing for theirs!

What did Phil Brown have to say? I missed it.

He was just saying how Bowyer's not making too many noises with regards to getting the job full time, despite doing brilliantly so far. He also doubts whether Bowyer is a big enough name for Shebby Singh and thinks that Venky's are looking for a coach instead of a manager. He believes that an experienced manager is needed to run the football side of things so they can concentrate on the business side of things. Basically he was saying that it's a fantastic opportunity provided the manager is allowed to manage without interference. Like I said, he was stating the obvious but it was nice to hear it from a non-Rovers fan.

Don't rule Phil Brown out. He is still close to Derek Shaw and was forced out of P N E prematurely when Jennings took over. His friendship with Sam will count against him but he is actually a very competent and engaging person.

Mr Angry - don't you think PB as muddied his copy book with the outrageous antic at Anfield with players throughout the game ?

I don't know 100% without checking stats, but his record at PNE wasn't great was it ?

I like the fact Bowyer as slipped under the radar without the pressure of the normal channels(if their are any normal at Ewood !)

Only a vastly experienced manager could possibly come in with the remit that will be put on him, and I doubt that is going to happen thus, Bowyer and Co are at this point a blessing in disguise, I would surmise ?

Would I be opposed to Brown as a manager ? No, but his reputation within the game I believe as been tarnished ? We don't need that to happen down at Ewood !
