when you look at the turnout for the Brighton game, it's a sorry state of affairs to hear about such a low attendance. Get more than that at Carlisle United games.

Bloody hell five thousand supporters just goes to show what this lot have done to the club about seventy five thousand in gate receipts god knows what next seasons league attendances will be should we not go up,it really needs a concerted effort from all quarters to make this possible.

League games include season tickets whether they attend or not. Gate stats for league games are always skewed. FA cup early rounds have never been well attended but this one I imagine is worse due to the disgraceful goings on at ewood.

League games DO NOT include cup matches, I shold know as I am a season ticket holder and I had to buy a ticket. If I did not need to I am going to ask for a refund! Of the 5500 about 500 were city supporters. I went but if the Global Advisor is sill there in May I will not be next season. The man is an idiot.

Season ticket holders seem to pay less than non season ticket holders for cup maches, but that is the only concession. Suggest you look at the onerovers shop stuff for confirmation.

The following is an extract from the rules regarding season tickets. Quite clear., I think

Season Ticket admits the holder to all first team home league matches. For all home cup matches and play-off matches, if the area of the stadium in which your seat is located is open for that match, your seat will be reserved but you will have to purchase it within the timescale notified for the match. If the area of the stadium in which your seat is located is not available, you will be given priority to purchase a ticket in another area.
The Season Ticket admits the holder to all home matches in the Premier Reserve League or its equivalent, and to home Youth Cup matches up to and including the Semi-Final. The Season Ticket must be produced at the turnstile to gain entry.

If the owners were prepared to keep a useless manager for 2 years, I think that they are too thick skinned to worry about how many are at one match. The only people who will really suffer are the players, and what sort of motivation is that? Danny Murphy scored a screamer and you could see the disappointment in his face when he realised the number of empty seats. Not buying a season ticket wll make Venkys take notice.

I owe Merlin an apology, reading his text quickly I thought he meant season tickets include cup matches. Sorry my friend.

However, I stand by my other comments.
