Ex-Claret Payton quits Colne job

FORMER Burnley striker Andy Payton has tonight quit as assistant manager of North West Counties League Premier Division outfit Colne.

Payton, who also played for Celtic, moved to the XLCR Stadium last summer as number two to the long-serving Nigel Coates after a spell managing Burnley FC Ladies.
