THE annual Hyndburn Secondary Schools badminton finals were held Hyndburn Sports Centre and included teams from across the borough.

The under 16s tournament saw both boys teams and girls teams battle it out for honours.

And it was the boys and girls of St Christopher’s who were holding court after both emerged triumphant.

The Accrington school won the boys final and completed the clean sweep by adding the girls title as well.

The boys ‘B’ team competition was won by Ribblesdale High School.
