ACCRINGTON Stanley's winless run extended to nine matches as they were beaten at Rotherham United in League Two this afternoon.

Stanley went into the game with goalkeeper Paul Rachubka and defenders Dean Winnard and Toto Nsiala all suspended, and handed a debut to Bury keeper Cameron Belford - brought in on an emergency seven-day loan.

Tom Eckersley also made his first Football League start but the centre back was credited with an own goal to put Rotherham ahead after 15 minutes.

Craig Lindfield levelled five minutes before half time but the hosts took control when Daniel Nardiello netted twice, in the 63rd and 74th minutes.

Michael O'Connor then confirmed Rotherham's victory with 13 minutes left, leaving Stanley 19th in the table.
