Hill: Ewood job still tempting
8:21am Saturday 29th December 2012 in Sport
By Chris Flanagan, Sports reporter
BARNSLEY boss Keith Hill believes the Blackburn Rovers vacancy would still be an attractive job for many managers as he prepares to face his old club today.
Hill said: “On paper, Premier League budget, possibly Premier League players, paying £8m for one player, paying Premier League wages, there’s a lot there a manager would look at and think I’ve got a good canvas to work with.
“But they’re playing Championship football on a Premier League budget and that’s not sustainable.
“I don’t think Steve Kean was doing a bad job but what’s happened since is they’ve given themselves a massive mountain to climb.
“At this moment it does look a little bit farcical.”

If you listen to Darren Gough on Talksport (he pretends to support Barnsley),yet he has numerous teams he supports including Spurs and MK Dons. He has also deserted Yorkshire and lives down south!
Thats why Lancashire will always win the battle of the roses! We will not desert or run away!

SINGH OUT let's hear it loud and clear banners and all at the next home match at the start and all the way through at half time and at the end. But let's get right behind the lads during the match.

I'm sick to the stomach of going through it now. I just pray something miraculous would happen although it clearly won't! Going into the heaviest part of the season managerless, coachless and clueless.
If Hill thinks that Kean wasn't doing a bad job then he is obviously not a candidate for the job, as his standards are way below the expectations of the average football fan.

Why oh why do these memory stunted one brain cells dorks keep saying Kean was doing a good job? He dragged us from midtable premier league to relegation. Told us there was no chance of relegation!! RELEGATION. He couldn't keep a decent team in the premier league so how could he get a worse one back up there. A much tougher job. No chance. Absolutely no chance. Stop defending him. He dragged us down to the tune of his bragging and bravado and delusion and lies. Doing a good job my a##e

Please don't think for one minute that I'm championing Steve Kean's cause, I'm as glad as the next fan that we don't have to listen to any more of his delusional musings or see his lip-licking, crazy eyed face on the TV. However, Singh seems to have surpassed Kean in the 'Narcissistic Personality Disorder' department and that means things will only get worse while he's pulling the strings at Rovers.

That said, you've chosen a team that were doing well but have gone off the boil to emphasise your point. It's just as easy to point to Cardiff and Hull, who have there or thereabouts all season, to argue the difference.

Just frustration and getting tired of being quoted Kean's finishing position after only a handful of games as though that meant he would continue like that. Its all nonsense. Of all the dire stuff Kean shoved on us and we could all write a thesis on it, the only thing other fans and media quote is our position in the table in a league below the one he started in and just as he resigned
