The team wasn't doing fine!!! It was a false position, i watched Rovers win 4 games this season whilst Kean was here and every one of them we didn't deserve a draw let alone a win. The man was a farce! I really hate it when other fans chirp up with a postitive Kean comment! You have and probably never will go through what we went through with Kean. And we didn't protest this season!!! We protested last season to try and stop him from taking us down!!! So ill informed

The point you missed is not what Steve Kean was doing this season, if it was not for his management we would still be in the Prem, he orchestrated the break up of one of the most solid defences in the prem and the moral and fabric of a once proud club. People should only judge Rovers fans when they have been through what we have had to endure since the Walker family turned there back us.

There are a lot of comments suggesting Hughes would be ideal with a guarantee of money etc. etc. I personally cant see it.Since his successful tenure here its been all down hill.It happens in football.You only have to examine his most recent effort at Q P R. Twenty Eight million spent on players he identified without winning one game.Now Harry Rednap is stuck with them

He bought warnock, samba, Nelsen and ooijer in who were widely regarded as one of the best back lines in the country and for less than we paid for scott dann, he signed Bentley, Bellamy and McCarthy, basically the team that took us to the latter stages of a European competition, winning the group along the way and qualifying again the following season as well as finishing easily in the top half of the premier league.

The point you missed is not what Steve Kean was doing this season, if it was not for his management we would still be in the Prem, he orchestrated the break up of one of the most solid defences in the prem and the moral and fabric of a once proud club. People should only judge Rovers fans when they have been through what we have had to endure since the Walker family turned there back us.

The League Managers Association (LMA) has issued the following statement on behalf of Henning Berg following his departure from Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Henning Berg said:

"It goes without saying that I am bitterly disappointed to have been relieved of my managerial duties at Ewood Park after just 57 days since my appointment.

"At this stage I would just like to release a short statement thanking the Blackburn Rovers fans for their incredible support during my time in charge. I have always enjoyed a fantastic relationship with them dating back to my playing days where we shared some great memories. It was an honour for me to manage a club that is so close to my heart and I now wish all of them every success for the rest of the season and beyond.

"I would also like to thank the players and staff for their support and commitment in this short period. They have all done their best and unfortunately the results in these ten games have not reflected their performances.

"I wish the club all the best in the future, and are sure that with a few additions in the January Transfer Window, they will have a good chance of getting a play-off place."

A "Petigrew" is a computers interpretation of the typing of the word pedigree. Just like the Venky's it has no idea of what the fans actually want to say. The team was not doing fine the season before. We got relegated last year. We almost got relegated under Kean the season before, escaping on the last day. It was all down hill and Kean had a very poor record, yet he didn't seem to care, made up countless things (including player injuries) etc. Yes, we were doing quite well under SK in the Championship but by then the fans had turned against him, thousands voted with their feet and stayed away this season. Unfortunately, Venkys tried to mend something that most definitely wasn't broken and we are where we are now.

Rovers fans are the best in the World and fans from other clubs don't know what has happened and should clear off.

Lets now get an experienced manager in who can instil some confidence.

Rovers fans were amongst the best in the world until Glen Mullen and his cronies destroyed our reputation last season.

The atmosphere at the club has never recovered from those terrible examples of how not to support a football club, Chelsea, Bolton, West Brom, etc; etc.

Perhaps Glen Mullen should apply for the job next, he's well in with Shebby now so there shouldn't be any problems with interference should there?
