Non-league games hit by weather
11:14am Saturday 8th December 2012 in Sport
TODAY'S non-league programme has been hit by the weather with several games frozen off.
Ramsbottom United's Evo-Stik League First Division North clash with Ossett Town is off because of a frozen pitch at the Riverside Stadium.
And Bacup Borough's North West Counties League Premier Division showdown against Ashton Athletic is another game to fall by the wayside after snow and ice left West View unfit for players or spectators.
Nelson's trip to Rochdale Town in the First Division is also off.
Prospects of Barnoldswick Town's big FA Vase third round tie with Emley going ahead at the Silentnight Stadium are good.
The match referee will make a decision when he arrives at the ground after a local official inspected this morning and wanted to give it more time.
