Its been a long time coming. The Burnley masses have been in dreamland since the beginning of the season, waiting for the day. They will soon get to see the mighty Rovers gracing their cesspit. where they will watch in awe, as always, and take a good pounding, as always, and then go home so happy they will wreck their own town centre. Blinding.
Looks like another name change by Tetley.
Let's put some things into perspective
a) How are the mighty fallen. BRFC are not a mighty team and have never held such a status. Unless of course being in the Hall of Fame Academy of being the greatest laughing stock in English football which is a trully great status to have and one I wholeheartedly agree with.
b) Clarets supporters will never be in awe of such a team(if thw word team can be applied as a description). Tears of laughter at the shennanigans that go on there is probably a mopre apt application.
c) The season in the Championship is a long one with many decent teams already played and beaten and all Clarets fans are looking foward to completing the hat-trick of local Derbys, after beating Bolton and Blackpool.
d) It is time to accept the wake up call and to admit BRFC are just a down and out Premier League team and are in fact a mediocre Championship one, incapable of playing consistent football and will become even more so as the season drags on.
On this basis I feel it will be BRFC fans who will be watching in awe as the MIGHTY Clarets go forward
