ACCRINGTON’S best took on the rest in a spectacular kick boxing event organised by Martial Arts For All.
The event attracted more than 400 spectators with gyms from across the country taking part.
The junior title winners were Chris Garratey from Ramseys of Blackburn in a well matched and hard battle against Danny Parker for the area championship.
Raheem Raegzab of Ali MMA produced a wonderful performance to win the Interclub full contact title against Brandon Law from Blackpool – his first ever title.
The junior U18s fight of the night was Zach Livsey against Saquib Baige which was a three round war.
The -70k English title went to Bobby Brown of FitTo Fight who scored a third round stoppage over Adam Butler.
In the seniors, Daniel Clarkson of FitToFight and Nik Foster Ramseys Blackburn were the fight of the night with Clarkson getting the nod from all three judges.
FitToFight’s Calvin Pattison was up against Owen McGill of Blackburn KB for the area title with Pattinon winning the points decision.
The main bout was for the British title Mike Barker from Rotheram against three-times English champion Luke Donnolly of FitToFight.
Donnolly came out all guns blazing and Barker didn’t stand a chance.
The Accrington man hurt him early on then forcing a second stoppage to become the WKA British champion.
