JORDAN Rhodes has struck against his old club to put Blackburn Rovers back on level terms at half time in tonight’s Championship fixture at Huddersfield Town.
Rovers almost took the lead after only 25 seconds when Huddersfield keeper Alex Smithies made a fine save to deny Ruben Rochina.
The hosts took the lead in the 15th minute at Lee Novak found the net.
But Rhodes hit back in the 43rd minute on his return to the John Smith’s Stadium – just over two months after his £8m move to Rovers – as he ran on to Rochina’s pass and fired past Smithies.
