Grassroots football clubs in East Lancashire can apply for floodlight funding

GRASSROOTS football clubs in Lancashire can apply to a new fund for improved floodlights.

The Lancashire FA has formed a partnership with telecoms infrastructure firm Shared Access to create the £30million programme.

Shared Access can also extend broadband and mobile phone coverage through wireless technology housed in floodlight columns.

Any members of grassroots clubs interested in the scheme can attend a seminar on Wednesday, November 14 at the County Ground, in Leyland.
