Chesterfield are a team who expect to finish in the top three every year, they are a better run club than ours and obviously these people have seen something in Cook they think is worth investing in. Good luck to him; he's a proper football man who deserves better than our shambles.

All I can say is that he was a very good actor because he fooled most of us into believing that he had the club in his heart but someone who truly did would not have bolted at the first sign of trouble. He was always going to move on, we knew that, but to do it so soon & not have the courage of his convictions to see the job through smacks of cowardice.
Can't believe some so called Stanley fans. Coleman for all his many limitations and lack of tactical knowledge was given infinite patience, even during runs when we would go double figure games without a victory and when he stuck by under-performing inept players because they were his scouse mates. First bad run we hit under Cook and suddenly people are baying for blood. Pathetic.

The club now need to do what should have been done when Coley & Jimmy left & give the job to Leam Richardson,he's a true Red & is I believe the one to take us forward.
