TEENAGERS are taking part in a “Eurovision” style vote to find Lancashire’s best book.
Pupils from schools across Lancashire are participating in the project aimed at encouraging children to read more.
They have been reading a selection of more than 100 titles published in the last 12 months.
School representatives will then be invited to attend debating sessions where they will be asked to give reasons for their vote.
Pupils from Norden High School, Rishton, will be debating their views with students from Chorley’s Albany High School and casting their vote on February 6.
Each school will cast their vote for their chosen book and that will generate points for that book.
